We Just Launched the Campaign for Branch Berkeley Springs — Here's What We're Building

We broke ground.

And now the founders campaign is live.

I've been heads-down on this project for a while — only sharing bits and pieces along the way.

Time to change that.

What is Branch Berkeley Springs?

Branch Berkeley Springs is a luxury micro resort we're developing in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. And it's one of the most intentional hospitality projects I've been part of.

Berkeley Springs is one of those places that surprises you. West Virginia's oldest spa town. Historic. Quiet. Genuinely beautiful.

And almost completely underserved when it comes to high-quality, design-forward accommodations.

That's where Branch comes in. We're not building another generic hotel.

We're building something intentional — designed spaces, exceptional guest experience, a property that actually fits the character of the town it's in.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to at Hilde Homes, at The Billy Motel, and now here.

Why Berkeley Springs?

We've looked at a lot of markets.

Berkeley Springs stood out — and honestly, the credit for finding it goes to my founding partner Ian. He discovered this town, fell in love with it, and had rentals there long before this project existed.

He was right.

Real history. Real community. A growing demand for boutique travel experiences — and almost no supply at the level we're building.

That's the kind of gap worth stepping into.

The traveler who loves thoughtful design, values a slower pace, and wants something more than a cookie-cutter hotel — that person is already going to Berkeley Springs.

They just deserve a better place to stay.
